Kerry L. Kole, D.O., F.A.C.O.S., F.A.S.M.B.S., CAQ-CCM, has joined the staff of Munson Medical Center and Munson Healthcare Grayling Hospital as a board-certified specialist in general surgery and trauma/surgical critical care.
Dr. Kole has special interests in trauma, advanced laparoscopic, and foregut surgery.
Dr. Kole practices inpatient surgery at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. He also practices at Grayling Surgical Services, 1010 North Down River Road, Grayling. He is accepting new patients in Grayling, and appointments can be made by calling 989-348-0880.
Since joining Munson Healthcare, Dr. Kole has taken on the role of medical director for trauma services for Munson Medical Center.
Dr. Kole graduated from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, East Lansing, Mich. He completed a general surgery residency at Bi-County Henry Ford Hospital, Warren, Mich., and a trauma and surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, Baltimore, Md.
Dr. Kole is board certified in general surgery and in surgical critical care. He is a Fellow of the American Board of Osteopathic Surgeons and also of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
