Thomas Judd Care Center will offer free HIV testing on Friday, June 26, in recognition of National HIV Testing Day.
Free rapid testing will be available from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the center, located at 5041 North Royal Drive, Suite 1, in Traverse City. Appointments can be made by calling 231-935-7548. All patients will need to be masked.
“We also welcome drop-in visits, but everyone will need to be screened for COVID-19 symptoms before entering the building,” said Heidi Lovy, community health specialist at the center. “We also will have some Thomas Judd Care Center swag for those who are tested.”
This year’s National HIV Testing Day theme promotes the power of “knowing” and the importance of knowing one’s HIV status, risk, prevention options, and treatment options.
