Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club meets Wednesday, April 12
The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club will discuss “Advance Care Planning” at its 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. meeting on Wednesday, April 12, at The Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster Road in Traverse City.
Munson Medical Center Advance Care Planning Coordinator Stephanie VanSlyke, R.N., an ICU nurse, will share information about what medical directives are, how to choose a health care advocate, and how to start that important conversation with family and friends about medical issues.

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club is open to the public and meets the second Wednesday of each month. The stroke club offers stroke survivors and support persons the opportunity to learn, share, and connect with one another through speakers, demonstrations, and group discussions.
