Families in Grayling, Cadillac, Traverse City areas invited to remember loved ones
Anyone who has experienced the loss of a family member or friend is invited to attend special remembrance events this fall in Grayling, Cadillac, or Traverse City.
Munson Hospice is sponsoring an Annual Memorial Ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 6 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 707 Spruce St., in Grayling; on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 6 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, 1020 E. Division St. in Cadillac; and Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster in Traverse City.
Each event will last about an hour and will feature speakers who will offer encouragement, support, and information about the grieving process. Families are encouraged to bring a framed photo of their loved one, and they may light a candle in their honor during the ceremony.
“These are opportunities for anyone who has lost someone they love in the past year to remember them and pay tribute to them in a meaningful way, and take another step toward healing from that loss,” said Munson Hospice Director Lisa White.
All families are welcome, whether or not they have used hospice services. No RSVP is needed.
