Perinatologist June C. Murphy, D.O., FACOOG, recently joined the staff of Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.
Dr. Murphy sees patients at Munson Healthcare Manistee Obstetrics & Gynecology, 1293 Parkdale Ave. in Manistee. She is accepting referrals from obstetric care providers.
As a perinatologist, Dr. Murphy’s goal is to help women with high-risk pregnancies have healthy outcomes, and to address any problems as soon as they occur. Her special interests include:
- Chronic hypertension in pregnancy
- Diabetes management
- Disorders of fetal growth and development
- Preterm birth prevention
A graduate from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing, Dr. Murphy performed her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Mich. She completed a fellowship in maternal and fetal medicine at Yale University’s Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Conn.
Dr. Murphy is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.
