Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital is pleased to announce that orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist Mark D’Angelo, DO, has been awarded board certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. The certification is valid for a period of ten years.
To receive board certification, Dr. D’Angelo completed written and oral examinations, as well as a clinical review that includes a chart audit and observation of surgical cases. Successful completion of this process demonstrates that Dr. D’Angelo is committed to excellence in the field of orthopedic surgery.
Dr. D’Angelo has been with Munson Healthcare Manistee Orthopedics since 2015. He completed medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and residency at Peninsula Hospital and North Shore/LIJ-Plainview Hospital in New York. He performed a sports medicine fellowship at Orthopedic Research of Virginia.
