Munson Healthcare to relaunch site as ‘Empire Community Health Center’ Oct. 16
Munson Healthcare officials are planning an open house and renaming dedication ceremony for the building housing health system services on Ottawa Avenue in Empire.
“Empire Community Health Center” will officially be designated during an open house from 4 - 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 16.
“We’re very proud of the high quality health care services we’ve assembled right here in Empire,” said Peter Marinoff, president of Munson Healthcare Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital. “We’re inviting the community to come out and tour our facility, meet our providers, discover all that we can do, and enjoy some family fun and refreshments.”
The facility is home to Empire Family Care, Empire Pharmacy, Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Physical Therapy, and Munson Healthcare Laboratory Services.
Empire Family Care now includes primary care services for the entire family from three providers: Nicole Fliss, M.D.; Cyrus Ghaemi, D.O.; and Katie Krezoski-Evans, D.O. Adult services include management of medical conditions, annual preventive care, Medicare annual wellness visits, and more. Infant and adolescent services include well child checks, acute illness care, immunizations, and more. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Wednesdays, 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Saturdays 8 a.m. - noon.
Physical therapy services include manual therapy, treatment for orthopedic and neurological disorders, and specialized Parkinson’s disease care. Hours are Monday through Thursday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Empire Pharmacy offers prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, medical and surgical supplies, medication therapy management and more. Hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Blood draws for laboratory testing are available Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1 - 4 p.m.
The Empire Community Health Center is located at 9975 Ottawa Ave. in Empire.
