“Pain is Weird” may sound weird, but it is reality for those who suffer from it.
Mary Free Bed Pain Rehabilitation Medical Director James Hudson, M.D., will share insights on how to manage chronic pain during a free talk from 6 - 7 p.m. at the Grand Traverse Bay YMCA West on May 20.
Dr. Hudson has specialized in the treatment and management of patients with chronic pain at Mary Free Bed for more than 30 years. He joined Mary Free Bed in 1983. He also will supervise the pain rehabilitation clinic within the Mary Free Bed at Munson Medical Center’s Long Lake Clinic in Traverse City.
Board certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Hudson is a fellow of the American College of Pain Medicine. He is an active member of the Michigan Academy of Family Practice, American Academy of Family Practice, Michigan State Medical Society, and the Kent County Medical Society.
