We live in a fast paced, chaotic and challenging world. Studies have shown that on any given day approximately 2% of children and 7% of adolescents meet criteria for having a clinically significant depression.  Dr. Sander Weckstein will discuss what can potentially be done to help prevent children or adolescents from developing significant depression and if it occurs what can be done to identify it early and treat it appropriately.  Dr. Weckstein is a board-certified child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who has practiced in the Traverse City area for over 20 years.
