Spectrum Health and Munson Healthcare officials Sept. 4 signed a non-binding letter of intent to explore a potential collaboration between Aero Med’s operations in Big Rapids and North Flight EMS Air Division. Their goal is to enhance the critical care emergency air transport services available in northern Michigan.

Lauren and Theresa’s Run, a professionally timed 5K trail run/walk and Kids’ Fun Run will be held Saturday, Aug. 16, at the Grand Traverse Commons. The fourth annual event will support Munson Medical Center’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in its efforts to save babies.
