Tips for Healthy Eating, Active Living for Boomers
Munson dietitian, exercise specialist share wise ways to deal with aging process

Adjusting to the challenges posed by aging sometimes requires a little help from one’s friends.

As the Boomer Generation moves toward retirement, Munson dietitian Diane Roach, R.D., and exercise specialist and trainer David Block, ACMS, CES, offer a free program of tips for Healthy Eating and Active Living for Boomers from 5:30 - 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, in Munson Community Health Center’s Meeting Rooms A&B.

Participants will learn how nutrition needs change as one ages, and Roach will share practical tips for how to enjoy eating well with more whole and fresh foods. Block will offer tips on the basics of healthy movement and demonstrate some basic exercises that work well for the Boomer Generation.

The program is sponsored by the Munson Community Health Library. While the program is free, registration is requested at munsonhealthcare.org/classes. For more information, call the library at (231) 935-9265.

Munson Community Health Center is located at 550 Munson Ave. in Traverse City.
