Drug Store Offers One-Stop Shop for Diabetes Patients
Munson Community Health Center Pharmacy caters to all diabetic needs

The Munson Community Health Center Pharmacy launched the Diabetes Shoppe®, a one-stop shop for diabetes patients, on Monday, Aug. 29. The store offers items for all diabetic management needs.

Pharmacist Kathleen Brown, R.Ph., said pharmacists and staff have received specialized training to ensure that they have knowledge and expertise about diabetes supplies, medications, and the lifestyle issues that matter most to people with diabetes.

“At MCHC Pharmacy’s Diabetes Shoppe, people will find a wealth of resources committed to helping ease the burden of managing diabetes so they can stop worrying and start living without limits,” she said.

A sample of the shop’s inventory includes everything from blood glucose meters, test strips and control solutions, lancets and lancet devices, to vitamins, sugar-free candy and food, Dr. Comfort® shoes and foot products, oral care products, and skin care products.

The MCHC Pharmacy, at 550 Munson Ave., is open seven days a week, 365 days a year, and offers the longest hours of service to the community to meet late night or early morning prescription needs.
