Traverse Heart and Vascular Offers Clinic in Manistee
Cardiologists will see patients at the Coastline Medical Specialties Building

Traverse Heart and Vascular’s Bear Lake clinic is moving south to a new location in Manistee.

Cardiologists will start seeing patients at the Coastline Medical Specialties Building at 1391 E. Parkdale, Suite 101, two to three times a month starting Feb. 2.

Traverse Heart and Vascular cardiologists provide comprehensive care in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of both heart and vascular related diseases.

Services offered include cardiology consultations, ongoing follow-up care for established patients, heart failure management, EKGs, lipid management, pacemaker management, medication management, patient education, atrial fibrillation treatment, diagnostic testing, evaluation for all forms of peripheral vascular disease, and more.

West Shore Medical Center Vice President for Patient Care Jim Toth said the move to Manistee gives patients easier access to both Traverse Heart and Vascular cardiologists in coordination with services available at the hospital.

“We are happy with Traverse Heart and Vascular leadership’s decision to move to Manistee because this will make it more convenient for many patients in the southern end of Manistee County,” he said. “Their expertise is available close to home.”

Appointments may be made by calling 1-800-637-4033.

Cardiac services available at West Shore Medical Center include cardiac rehabilitation, laboratory testing, stress tests, EKGs, and some vascular ultrasound testing. For more information on hospital services call West Shore Medical Center at (231) 398-1145.
