Horse Show, Barn Dance Benefits Munson Cancer Funds
Angels on the Rail is June 29 - 30 at the Northwestern Mich. Fairgrounds

The Angels on the Rail horse speed show, classic horse show, barn dance and silent auction will be held June 29 - 30 at the Northwestern Michigan Fairgrounds to assist those with cancer and to help build the new Cowell Family Cancer Center at Munson Medical Center.

The horse speed show will start at noon on Saturday, June 29, and the barn dance runs from 6:30 - 9:30 p.m. in the swine barn. Tickets for the dance are $15 or two for $25. The entertainment will be provided by “ReBooted.” Food and beverages will be available at the event by donation.

On Sunday, June 30, there will be a classic horse show and silent auction beginning at 9 a.m. in the Sue Booth Arena. All weekend, people can wander through a barn filled with a couple of hundred silent auction items, including the chance to bid on trips to Alaska, the PGA Master’s Tournament in Augusta, Fla., a week in Maui, the Country Music Awards, the Kentucky Derby, and many more.

Last year, Angels on the Rail raised $10,000.
