Social Worker Discusses Dealing With Life After Stroke
Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club Meets Wednesday, May 14

A Munson Medical Center social worker will discuss “Dealing with Reactions From Others: Life Following a Stroke” at the Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club meeting 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14.

The meeting is at The Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster Road, in Traverse City.

David Rushlow, L.M.S.W., will help participants understand the emotional challenges stroke presents and methods to cope and overcome.

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club meets the second Wednesday of each month and offers stroke survivors and support persons the opportunity to learn, share, and connect with one another through speakers, demonstrations, and group discussions.
