Stroke Survivor Shares Her Recovery Through Music
Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club Meets Wednesday, June 11

A stroke survivor will share her “Stroke Recovery Through Music: Demonstration of a One Handed Piano Playing Technique” at the Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club meeting 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11.

The meeting is at The Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster Road, in Traverse City.

Stroke survivor Lana Beaudoin is a former principal and education consultant who turned to her love for music to help her overcome the challenges of a stroke. Participants of stroke clubs in Cadillac, Grayling, and other areas, also plan to attend.

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club is open to the public meets the second Wednesday of each month. The stroke club offers stroke survivors and support persons the opportunity to learn, share, and connect with one another through speakers, demonstrations, and group discussions.
