Paul Oliver Offers Comprehensive Rehab Services
Patients benefit from highly skilled therapists at Frankfort, Benzonia locations

Whether it is helping grandma recover from a stroke, or dad from the blown-out knee on the ski slope, Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Rehabilitation Services offers comprehensive care for rehabilitation needs.

Patients will find Munson Rehab therapists at four outpatient rehab locations in Benzie and Leelanau counties.

“Our high quality therapists help Paul Oliver distinguish itself in both our outpatient programs and inpatient rehab program at Paul Oliver Living and Rehabilitation Center,” said Jim Austin, president and CEO of Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital. “We measure patient satisfaction and compare ourselves to thousands of outpatient programs across the country, consistently scoring in the top 5 percent.”

Munson Rehab staff members serving Paul Oliver locations include certified therapists in sports rehabilitation, hand therapy, speech therapy, physical therapy, and wound care.

The hospital recently relocated its fitness center therapy clinic back to its original Benzonia location, allowing therapists to work closely together in consolidated clinics in Benzonia and at the hospital. Staff at the Benzonia location will start offering craniosacral therapy starting this spring.

The Benzonia location also has the only pool used for aqua therapy in Benzie County. In addition to the hospital, other rehab clinics are located in Empire and Interlochen.

Austin said patients treated at the Paul Oliver Living Rehabilitation Center each receive a treatment regimen specifically tailored to their needs, goals, and tolerance by therapists from Munson Rehab Services.

Frankfort resident Joe Muer said he received excellent care during a rehab stay at the Paul Oliver Living and Rehabilitation Center following hip surgery in Grand Rapids.

“I spent eight days at Paul Oliver where I was dearly cared for by your staff,” he said. “Without the diligence and professionalism of your staff, I don’t know where I would be tomorrow. Great care has been given to me from entry to exit.”
