Paul Oliver Recognized by Firm for Employee Engagement
HR Solutions awards hospital its Best-In-Class Seal; features hospital on website

Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital recently received notification that it ranked in the top 2 percent of HR Solutions’ customer database in terms of employee engagement scores.

HR Solutions International awarded the hospital its Best-In-Class Seal.

“We are pleased to inform you that your organization was selected for your outstanding engagement scores,” said Chris Dustin, senior vice president of organizational development for Avatar HR Solutions. “Organizations were selected based on their engagement and overall job satisfaction levels.”

The organization plans to feature the hospital on its website.

Hospital employees took an employee engagement survey earlier this spring. Studies have shown that the more a workforce is engaged, the better the quality of care and service. Human Resources manager Julie Banktson said the recognition should further reinforce for the community an understanding about the quality of the workforce at the hospital. “We have a very dedicated and engaged team here at Paul Oliver and it is always exciting when that is validated and recognized by a third party, such as HR Solutions. We’re grateful.”

Patient Access Services employee Jamie Gillison agrees that working at the hospital is an opportunity she continues to enjoy.

“My coworkers are truly an extension of my family,” she said. “We have celebrated accomplishments, and supported each other through illness and everyday challenges. It is because of this that I love coming to work every day.”
