Addresses ‘Keeping Children Healthy’
Keith English, M.D., is nationally recognized for his work in pediatrics Michigan State University College of Human Medicine Professor Keith English, M.D., will discuss issues surrounding “Keeping Children Healthy” as the Your Health Lecture Series returns to Traverse City on March 18.
The address will be at 9 a.m. in the Dennos Museum Center at Northwestern Michigan College.
Discussion will include ways to prevent the most common ailments facing children and how children can be treated more effectively when they become sick.
Dr. English is the chair of the Department of Pediatrics and Human Development at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He achieved national acclaim for leading the Memphis community response for the 2009 H1N1 flu pandemic while at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. English is also recognized for his work in pediatrics and was named “Pediatrician of the Year” by the Tennessee chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
