The Road to Fitness Begins With an Open House
Betsie Hosick Health and Fitness Center invites the community to see facilities

Winter fitness sometimes seems challenging. It gets cold, slippery, and the ski slopes appear more like obstacles than opportunities.

The Betsie Hosick Fitness Center offers Frankfort area residents a winter fitness alternative and an opportunity to check out its offerings during an open house and membership drive kickoff on Saturday, Nov. 9, from 1 - 4 p.m.

“We invite people to stop in for a tour of the facility and investigate the wide range of services we have at the center,” said Peter Marinoff, president of Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital, which owns the center. “Joining the facility is a convenient way to stay fit this winter.”

The open house will feature class demonstrations, raffle prizes, membership discounts, and massages. Membership specials through Dec. 31 include:

  •  Buy a three-month membership and get three months free
  • “One Price Fits All” Special: All regular, student, and senior one-month memberships are $50
  • A 20 percent discount on all annual memberships; the service fee is waived

Area residents who cannot attend the open house can still take advantage of the special rates by calling (231) 352-9661.

Betsie Hosick Health and Fitness Center is located at 102 Airport Road in Frankfort.
