Weak Knees? Stay in the Game Without Pain
Orthopedic surgeon outlines advanced treatment options for bad knees

Climbing a dune, playing hopscotch with a grandchild, or preparing for waterski season requires well-functioning knees. As the largest joint in the body, knees can be subject to sprains, strains, fractures, tears, and dislocation from overuse or injury.

Munson Medical Center’s team of orthopedic surgeons specializes in advance treatment for people with knee injuries. Munson orthopedic surgeon Justin J. Hollander, D.O., offers a free program from 6 - 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, that will cover the sources of knee pain and the leading-edge treatment options for knee arthritis and knee injuries. He also will share information about the advances in knee replacement.

The program will be in Meeting Rooms A&B at Munson Community Health Center in Traverse City. While the seminar is free, registration is required.
