|Physical therapists (PTs) at Munson help patients feel better and live better lives. Whether working with an accident victim or someone with a disabling condition, our PTs will determine the best course of action to help restore function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and limit or prevent permanent physical disabilities. Munson’s physical therapists create individualized plans to meet each patient’s specific needs and help them regain strength and function, offering encouragement each step of the way. In addition, our PTs promote overall fitness and wellness for a healthy and active lifestyle.
Our physical therapists work in hospitals and provide services at private therapy offices, community health centers, industrial health centers, rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, and home health agencies.
- Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatment within accepted standards of practice
- Facilitate referrals to other departments (e.g. Return to Work, Home Care, Hand Therapy) for continuum of care
- Maintain awareness of patient's condition, attitudes, and limitations; recognize adverse patient reactions or conditions, and make appropriate reports to Maintain timely, accurate, appropriate documentation in patient records
