Home Infusion is a multi-disciplinary home
service provided to non-hospitalized patients needing one or more
of the following:
IV access site maintenance/lab work
Parenteral medication administration
Enteral/parenteral nutrition and hydration
Pain management
Chemotherapy
Antiviral agents
Alpha proteinase inhibitor
Inotropic agents
The Home Health Infusion team consists of
a Medical Director, IV Therapist, Clinical Pharmacy Specialist,
Home Infusion Nurse, Nutrition Support Team, Reimbursement Specialist,
and Medical Equipment Services to evaluate the patient’s
needs. This program meets the needs of patients who prefer and
are able to be at home. 24 hour, emergency, on-call access to
a pharmacist, nurse, and medical equipment company is available,
and all services and equipment are provided directly in the home.
Service can be initiated within 24 hours of a request.
