RTS Bereavement Services at Munson Medical Center began in 1990 to help families cope with the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, and neonatal death. Such a loss can result in overwhelming feelings of grief including helplessness, shock, numbness, and anger. The hopes and dreams families had for their child are lost. Families often struggle with these feelings alone because those close to them may not understand their grief and don’t know how to help.
