The Smith Family Breast Health Center at Copper Ridge sets a new standard for breast health services in northern Michigan. The Center was designed to enhance patient comfort, privacy, and peace of mind.
Services include annual screening mammography, diagnostic testing, bone density testing, and breast biopsy. Timely educational information is provided by experienced, caring staff.

Boutique Services
Digital Mammography Digital mammography used at the Breast Health Center allows physicians to capture high-resolution images, then manipulate, transmit, and store those images electronically. It does not detect breast cancer sooner or better than film mammography, but helps technologists to obtain high quality images within a few seconds. Wait times are reduced and more patients can be scheduled.
Mammography Services
All hospitals within the Munson Healthcare system offer high quality mammography services. For convenience, annual mammograms should be scheduled in the patient’s home community.
Boutique Service
Patients also may make appointments with private vendors in a boutique setting at the Breast Health Center for prosthetic care, wigs, clothing, and other special needs. This service eliminates the need to travel to find specialty items.

The Breast Health Center is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 8:30 pm.

Directions to the Center
The Breast Health Center is located on the second floor of the Northwest Michigan Surgery Center in the Copper Ridge Development off of West Silver Lake Road in Traverse City. Parking is located in front of the surgery center. Use the main entrance and take the elevator to the second floor.
