2010 - 2011
Munson expands the services and space available in the Infusion Clinic, providing services to hundreds more patients.
2011 - 2012
- Munson moves forward to purchase Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) equipment, bringing new, state-of-the-art technologies to the community as soon as possible. Service began in 2012 in a new Stereotactic Radiosurgery Suite in the basement level at Munson Medical Center; SRS services will relocate to the new cancer center.
- Munson leadership and physician partners complete a plan to develop a more coordinated approach to care of cancer patients in the region.
2011 - 2013
Munson Healthcare Regional Foundation undertakes a comprehensive campaign to raise funds to build the Cancer Center.
2012 - 2013
Site development with relocation and naturalization of Kid’s Creek, improves the health of the stream, reduces the risk of flooding, and provides a natural buffer between the hospital and surrounding neighborhood.
2014 - 2016
Construct the comprehensive cancer center as planning is completed, economic conditions are favorable, and charitable giving goals are realized.
