2010 - 2011 Scholarship Eligibility and Award Policy
Munson Medical Center Volunteer Organization Offers Scholarships Each
Year To Qualified Applicants For Studies In Health Related Career Fields At
A Michigan Accredited College.
The Scholarship Award Is For Funds Payable Directly To The College Toward Tuition.
Eligibility Requirements/New Applicants:
Be a resident of Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Kalkaska, Wexford or Antrim counties for a period of at least (6) months prior to application.
Pursuing a health-related program of study in an accredited college in Michigan.
Must provide your most recent transcript verifying a minimum of 3.0 grade point average based on 4.0-point scale (include most recent ACT score if available).
Benefited employees of MMC Healthcare are not eligible for MMC Volunteer Scholarships. *

Application deadline is March 6, 2010.
Applicants are responsible for timely receipt of all information.
Volunteer Scholarship approval will take place at the April 2010 MMC Volunteer Board Meeting.
The Scholarship Committee Chair will notify applicants in writing of the Board’s decision by May 3rd, 2010.
