Boarding for Breast Cancer
Another highly successful event benefiting the Women’s Cancer Fund and the Navigator Program was the Sixth Annual “Boarding for Breast Cancer” day at Crystal Mountain. This year’s event took place on March 18 and raised approximately $10,000. The day included raffles, awards, manufacturers’ demos, and an after-party. Those who raised $1,000 or more in pledges received a free Crystal Mountain 2006-2007 season pass.
VASA Helps Women’s Cancer Fund
The North American VASA once again donated funds raised through participant fees to the Women’s Cancer Fund. The Feb. 11 event, held under “perfect” conditions, raised approximately $1,500 for the fund.
