Polo Fundraiser Benefits Munson
Horseshows by the Bay event supports Emergency Department project
Munson Medical Center Volunteers will host a special fundraiser at the Horseshows by the Bay Polo Tournament on Sunday, August 2.
A party featuring cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, a champagne diamond drop, hat contest, raffle, and more is planned from noon - 4 pm at the tournament. A portion of the ticket cost is eligible for a charitable deduction. The party is limited to 350 participants and will be held at the festival site at 6535 Bates Road in Williamsburg.
The fundraiser is part of the Volunteers effort to meet the group’s pledge for the Munson Medical Center Emergency Department project.
“We encourage those who would like to donate to a project that has greatly benefited the community to come and support the effort of Munson Volunteers,” said Theresa Stachnik, manager of Volunteer Services at the hospital. “These volunteers give generously of their time and provide value-added service all year long.”
Horseshows by the Bay is a four-week equestrian festival with competitive events held July 8 - Aug. 2. For more information, visit horseshowsbythebay.com.
