HOW TO RECEIVE PAGES

By Pager:

Vendor: USA Mobility

Cost: $5/month

Set-up Process: To request pager, contact Munson Help Desk at (231) 935-6053 or helpdesk@mhc.net.

By Cell:

Vendors: AT&T or Verizon only (Sprint may be available in the future)

Cost: $3/month for AT&T; no charge for Verizon

Set-up Process: 

   AT&T:
  • Using your AT&T phone, dial “611”.
  • Request to turn on “EPU4” – basic enterprise messaging.
  • AT&T will send a test message.
  • Once you’ve received confirmation from AT&T that text messaging has been turned on, contact the Munson Switchboard at (231) 935-5000 or switchboard@mhc.net.. You will need to provide your cell phone number and carrier (AT&T).
  • Munson Switchboard will send you a test page to confirm that your cell is now set-up to receive pages.
  
   Verizon:
  • Contact the Munson Switchboard at (231) 935-5000 or switchboard@mhc.net. You will need to provide your cell phone number and carrier (Verizon).
  • Munson Switchboard will send you a test page to confirm that your cell is now set-up to receive pages.

HOW TO SEND PAGES USING SMARTWEB

Smart Web, Munson’s web-based portal for paging, staff directory, and on-call schedules, can now be accessed by physicians and physician office staff who don’t have access to the Munson network. If you have Munson PowerChart access and would like SmartWeb added to your remote desktop, please contact Deb Kimball at (231) 935-3388 or email dkimball@mhc.net.
