The Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Auxiliary is a volunteer fundraising organization dedicated to promoting and supporting health care in Benzie County. Since its existence, the auxiliary has donated over $1.2 million to POMH with profits raised from the hospital Gift Shop and annual fundraising events. Projects we have helped with include dialysis services, digital mammography,
MRI Dock, and CT Scanner. Our most recent project is a new bone densitometer.

POMHA 19th Annual Golf Benefit
Thursday, May 22
Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa
The Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Auxiliary’s 19th Annual Golf Benefit will be held on the Mountain Ridge Golf Course at Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa in Thompsonville. Come out and celebrate the end of a very long winter!  This 4 player scramble/shotgun format, which starts at 11:30am, includes 18 holes of golf with cart, a delicious barbeque buffet at 6pm, and many games, team awards and door and raffle prizes. The number of golfers is limited to 144, so it is advisable to submit your registration early. The cost remains at $100/person.  If one wishes to attend only the buffet, the cost is $35.00.  If you don’t have a team of 4 people, please send in your registration and we will do our best to pair you with others who need to complete a team.  For more information, please call Judy Caris at (231) 882-5866.

Annual Meeting and Spring Luncheon

Crystal Mountain Resort, Thompsonville, MI

11:45am - Business Meeting, followed by lunch and a fashion show
The theme this year was “Good Things Grow When Volunteers Are Involved”.  The cost for this event is $25/person. Reservation form and check may be left at the POMHA Gift Shop, Crystal Crate and Cargo, Hulls of Frankfort, or sent to Rosalie Jongekrijg at 6617 Crystal DR. Beulah, MI  49617.

Wine & Stein

In the Open Space, Main Street - Frankfort, MI
This is a new event featuring samples from northern Michigan wineries and breweries. There will be a pig roast by Odette’s Custom Catering and entertainment by DJ Duane. Every hour there will be a 50/50 raffle. There is a $25 entry fee includes a Souvenir Tasting Glass and 2 tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets are available for $1.00 each.  This is a cash only event. This exciting new event is sponsored by Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

POMHA 32st Annual Tour of Interesting Places
Thursday, August 7
10am - 4pm
A delightful variety of homes in and around Frankfort, Michigan
This year’s Tour of Interesting Places event is titled “Frankfort through the Ages”, and guides participants through some of the many fascinating homes in the immediate area. Tickets for the wonderful event will go on sale after July 15 at the following locations: Hull’s of Frankfort, Betsie Bay Furniture, The Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital Gift Shop in Frankfort, Maxwell's on Main and Crystal Crate and Cargo in Beulah. The tour is not open to children under 12 years of age and cameras are not permitted. Cost of tickets is $20.00, Day of Tour cost is $25.00. After 2:00 pm the cost to enter just one home is $5.00. All homes will be open to tour at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 1:00 and close at 4 p.m. For more information on The Tour of Interesting Places, please call Beverly Viilo at (703) 298-9428.
