Reform is Here
Today’s health care landscape is very different than it was even one year ago and is constantly changing. Each of our hospitals is making progress in responding to the shift from volume to value. We're redesigning care delivery, including a shift in focus to outpatient, community-based care. We’re also taking steps to deliver care more efficiently, with system hospitals and providers working collaboratively as a region.
Health care reform is our new reality. Lawmakers won’t alter the aging process or reduce the incidence of chronic disease, so we will need to respond with a common sense approach that revolves around reducing costs, increasing value, and strengthening relationships.
