Heroes are all around us, and as each day passes in the COVID-19 pandemic, there are more and more examples of people going above and beyond to serve others. Our Munson Healthcare Heroes wear many different badges throughout our hospitals, but each one of them helps to provide outstanding care with compassion. And to them, YOU are a hero by staying home to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep healthcare workers, our patients, and our communities safe.
Why is social distancing so important? It is the single most impactful way we can slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and protect each other, including our healthcare heroes. Our Munson Healthcare Heroes include all the people who work to protect you, like doctors and nurses, various other clinical experts, our dietary and housekeeping staff, our infection prevention team members, and those who make sure our supplies are ready for use. No matter what badges our employees wear at Munson Healthcare, each and every one of our Healthcare Heroes is dedicated to improving lives throughout our communities.
By staying home, you are doing your part so we can do ours. On behalf of the entire Munson Healthcare team, thank you for your support in protecting the safety of our communities.

Munson Healthcare Heroes Poster Contest
We asked kids across our region to cheer on our healthcare heroes by submitting artwork expressing their thanks. View the winning poster here, along with all the poster entries. The winning poster will be displayed at our hospitals.
Take a Photo!
We will be using photos from our communities to display on units within our hospitals to thank our Munson Healthcare heroes. Stand on your front porch or by the front door of your house or apartment building. Or take a photo from inside your home. You are our hero by staying at home to protect yourselves, our Munson Healthcare Heroes and our communities. Show us how you are a hero!

- Take bright, simple photos of family or roommates staying home.
- Keep the background as simple as possible.
- Shoot horizontal images with people to the right of the frame, if possible.
- If you can, include a handwritten message of thanks.
- Or feel free to hold one of the downloadable signs!
Send Us Your Photos
- This is a release form that allows us to display your photos on the units or use your photos on our website, social media pages, or other platforms.
- The photos will be published in an upcoming blog post and on social media to see the latest photos of our amazing community.
Display a Sign

Be a Hero to Patients
Most patients in our hospitals are not allowed to have visitors, due to state-mandated visitor restrictions. These rules are helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19. But that doesn’t mean they can’t have our well wishes!
