Munson Healthcare has a New Centralized Patient Transfer and Placement Center

All 8 MHC hospitals are now live on the new centralized MHC Patient Transfer and Placement Center. Cadillac Hospital, Charlevoix Hospital, Grayling Hospital, Kalkaska Memorial Health Center, Manistee Hospital, Munson Medical Center, Otsego Memorial Hospital, and Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital.

• How to Transfer a Patient (In and Out):

  • Call 231-392-0777.

  • Community Access Portal for non-emergent transfers or to request a consult: MHC Emergency Department providers can use the online Community Access Portal (CAP) to initiate a non-emergent transfer or consult, which can be a faster alternative to calling. 

The MHC Patient Transfer and Placement Center team is physically located at the Copper Ridge office in Traverse City.
