Munson Healthcare Home Medical Equipment opened a new location serving Manistee at 1400 E. Parkdale Ave. on Dec. 2.
Opening the new retail store brings local residents a full line of home medical equipment and supplies with professional staff on-hand to answer questions.
“We purposefully chose Manistee for our new store location because we believe this community and the surrounding areas will benefit from having a walk-in storefront to shop and purchase home medical equipment,” said Shari Wilson, vice president of Munson Healthcare Home Health Services. “Our showroom is filled with products and friendly staff to guide customers to the equipment best suiting their needs. Our goal is to help individuals live more independently and comfortably in their own homes.”
In addition to medical equipment such as beds, wheelchairs, canes and walkers, the store offers breast feeding equipment and supplies, CPAP and sleep-related accessories, diabetic shoes and supplies, ice therapy equipment, compression stockings, blood pressure and heart monitoring devices, nebulizers, humidifiers and much more.
Many items are available for cash and without a prescription. On Thursdays customers receive a 10 percent discount on items purchased with cash.
The new Manistee store is open to the public Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Emergency services are available 24 hours a day. The entrance and parking are located on Parkdale Avenue directly across the street from Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital.
