Gaylord, Mich. — Jill Moore, RN, Diabetic Educator at Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital (OMH), will discuss steps to take after receiving a diabetes diagnosis. Moore will cover how diabetes affects the body, signs and symptoms of low blood sugar, and share tools for controlling diabetes. Attendees will learn about meal plans, exercise options, and resources available at OMH for diabetes management.
The event will take place on Wednesday, June 20 from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the Professional Medical Building Conference Room at OMH. Admission is free and light refreshments will be provided.
