Munson Healthcare peer recovery coaches Paul Bock and Kimberly Johnson recently were honored with Addiction Treatment Services 2020 Advocacy Award.
The Traverse City-based agency bestows the award on those whose efforts represent significant contributions to the recovery community during the year.
“These individuals are the face of advocacy,” said Matthew Zerilli, recovery center manager for Addiction Treatment Services. “Their work in the recovery community says it all. They have supported and advocated for those struggling and the work they have done as peer recovery coaches has been amazing.”
Addiction Treatment Services sponsors The P.O.R.C.H. recovery center in Traverse City that offers safe syringe access, referral to social, mental health, and other medical services, naloxone distribution, and much more.
