Recovering stroke patients and their families/support persons are invited to a new stroke support group from 11 a.m. – noon on Friday, Nov. 19 at Munson Healthcare Cadillac Hospital’s Missaukee Room.
The group is hosted by Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation at Munson Healthcare speech-language pathologist Kristin Schoo. Due to limited seating, reservations are requested by calling 231-876-6452.
“Our focus in the group will be education, socialization, and motivation,” Schoo said.
Participants will be asked to wear hospital-issued masks and practice social distancing.
Plans call for the club to meet on the third Friday of every month. Cadillac Hospital is located at 400 Hobart St. in Cadillac.
