Neurologist Shares Updates on Stroke Prevention, Treatments

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club will hear “Updates on Stroke Prevention and Current Treatments” at its meeting from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. on June 12.

The club meets at The Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster Road in Traverse City.

Munson Medical Center neurologist and stroke unit Medical Director Kersti Bruining, M.D., and stroke program Clinical Coordinator Christine Peplinski, B.S.N., R.N., CMSRN, will share important information on stroke prevention and the latest treatment options.

The Grand Traverse Bay Area Stroke Club is open to the public and meets the second Wednesday of each month. The stroke club offers stroke survivors and support persons the opportunity to learn, share, and connect with one another through speakers, demonstrations, and group discussions.
