Graduating Family Practice Residents Head into Careers

Munson Healthcare Family Practice Residency program continues to help supply well-trained physicians for communities in northern Michigan and beyond.

Five of six Munson Healthcare Family Practice Residency Class of 2020 graduates are headed for careers in northern Michigan and one in Canada.

Anne Broad, M.D., who was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula town of Hubbell, and Kayla Stefanko, D.O., who was born in Munising and raised in Ludington, both have accepted positions with Cadillac Family Physicians in Cadillac.

Ben Vanos, D.O., who was raised in Battle Creek, is joining OMH Medical Group in Indian River, a family practice affiliated with Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital.

Tommy Walbridge, D.O., a native of Bloomfield Hills, and Leah Walbridge, M.D., a native of Traverse City, are both joining West Front Primary Care in Traverse City. They also plan to continue work at Foster Family Community Health Center Urgent Care, and Dr. Tommy Walbridge will continue to see patients at a Grayling area urgent care clinic.

Adrian Nahirnyj, D.O., a native of Toronto, Canada, and a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, will return with his family to the Toronto area to join a family practice clinic.
