Phoebe D. Danziger, M.D., Joins Munson Healthcare

Phoebe D. Danziger, M.D., has joined the medical staff of Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital as a board-certified physician specializing in pediatrics.

Dr. Danziger enjoys caring for children of all ages and has a particular interest in newborn care and medical ethics. During her medical training and first years in practice, Dr. Danziger conducted medical research on parental decision-making surrounding routine newborn preventive practices, including prevention of neonatal vitamin K deficiency bleeding.

Dr. Danziger practices at Munson Healthcare OMH Medical Group, 829 N. Center Ave., Ste. 130, Gaylord. She is accepting new patients, and appointments can be made by calling 989-731-7930.

“Children are magical and watching them grow and develop over the years is a true joy,” Dr. Danziger said. “It is a privilege to work with children and their families, and I love being able to offer support and compassionate care during both well and sick visits. I pride myself on being a good listener, and I think it’s critical to listen to parents’ intuition and expertise about their children.”

Dr. Danziger graduated medical school from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich. She completed a residency in pediatrics at University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers in Ann Arbor and a pediatric bioethics certificate program at Children’s Mercy Bioethics Center, Kansas City, Mo.
