Munson Healthcare is pleased to welcome cardiothoracic surgeon R. Eric Lilly, M.D., to its medical staff. He joins the Cardiothoracic Surgeons of Grand Traverse practice.
Dr. Lilly received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. He completed both his general and cardiothoracic surgical residencies at Duke University Hospital GME.
Dr. Lilly’s favorite and most important part of practicing medicine is being able to positively impact his patients’ lives. This begins at the bedside and carries through the operating room. “My goal is to treat patients like I would want to be treated. Having an advocate on your side is important to successful recovery,” Dr. Lilly said.
