As a non-profit organization, Munson Healthcare has the privilege of improving lives in meaningful and far-reaching ways that extend beyond the care we provide in our hospitals, labs, and clinics. Our annual community commitments support and nurture the health and well-being of everyone who lives and works in northern Michigan, and includes:
- Providing free, discounted, and unreimbursed healthcare services to people in need. Medically necessary care is always provided, regardless of a person’s ability to pay for that care.
- Healthcare programs and education and that support the unique, identified needs of our communities, such as expanding access to close-to-home care, mental health and substance use disorder services, basic needs, and chronic disease prevention.
