Be a Volunteer

Volunteering is rewarding for you as well as those you help. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available at Grayling Hospital — from direct interaction with patients to behind-the-scenes office work.

Play a Key Role in Our Mission

Volunteers play a key role in Grayling Hospital's mission to improve the health of our communities. Grayling Hospital Volunteer Services staff work with you to determine which service would be the best fit based on your interest and ability. All volunteers receive specialized training and general orientation.

Every day, hundreds of patients and loved ones, including family members and friends, are enriched by volunteers. The touch of a hand, a smiling face, and a gentle voice are things remembered long after recovery.

Continuing the Tradition

Volunteers have served Grayling Hospital for more than 100 years. Currently, more than 50 dedicated men and women serve our hospital family as members of the Grayling Hospital Volunteer Services. Their commitment and service are vital to our healing mission to our patients, their families, and our communities. Volunteers also lead a variety of fundraisers that help purchase much-needed equipment, renovations, and expansions for our facility.
