Volunteering at Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital

Volunteering is easy, fun, and requires only a small amount of your time. A variety of duties are available — from direct interaction with patients to behind-the-scenes office work. Flexible hours fit all schedules. All volunteers receive specialized training and orientation.

Anyone age 16 or older may volunteer at Paul Oliver and a minimum six-month commitment is preferred.

Benefits of Volunteering

  • Volunteers quickly form friendships and enjoy knowing they are part of an award-winning team that helps and serves the community.

  • Once you have qualified as a volunteer, discounts at area businesses and pharmacy services will be available to you.

  • Volunteer experience can be used on a resume, college application, or in some cases, as internship credits toward a college degree.

  • Opportunities are available to serve on the Volunteer Board for those who would like a leadership role.
