MHC Continues to Reopen Services under Current Executive Order

Munson Healthcare continues to reinitiate select services, procedures, and surgeries that may have been delayed due the Governor’s executive orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic. In reopening of services, we also have necessary visitation restrictions in place.

We are being thoughtful and responsible in our decisions. This will be a phased approach, mindful of social distancing and necessary visitor restrictions and driven by the availability of PPE and testing capacity while making sure we are able to adjust quickly to a possible surge of COVID-19 patients.

Patients Will Be Contacted to Reschedule

If you are a patient whose services may have been previously postponed, and you are called to reschedule, we advise you not to further delay care for fear of contracting COVID-19 in a hospital or medical setting. Safety is our top priority and our team of experts are taking all the necessary precautions to keep everyone safe.

Unless it is urgent, please do not come to a reopened facility for services without being instructed to do so by a healthcare provider.

The Impact of Closures

The closures that took place in March have unfortunately created a significant waiting list for some services for our patients. So despite reopenings, if you have a new, non-urgent need for services, you may have a longer than usual wait. We are working diligently to see the patients who were originally delayed by the closures so we can meet new patients’ needs as well.

We are here for you and will do our absolute best to provide you with the care you need. And of course, if your need is urgent/emergent, you will be treated immediately.
