Charlevoix Hospital partners with Michigan State University’s Rural Health Residency program by providing opportunities for residents. First year nursing students seeking their associate's degree in nursing from the local community college are hosted at the hospital each fall and winter semester.

Part of the Community

Charlevoix Hospital is a member of five local Chambers of Commerce (Charlevoix, Boyne Area, East Jordan, Petoskey, and Beaver Island) and is actively and integrally involved in each of these communities, partnering in many worthwhile community events.

The hospital’s Wellness Workshop shares space in downtown Charlevoix with the Charlevoix Courier newspaper and provides school nurses to surrounding area schools at no charge to them.
