What is the MLS Early Hire Program?

Munson Healthcare is seeking to pre-hire the finest MLS senior students. Upon committing to a job at Munson Healthcare, you will receive $7,500 before you even begin your career.

What are the Requirements of the Program?

All MLS students who will be graduating in 2023 and 2024 and will have completed a NACCLS accredited internship are eligible to apply for the program. Once you apply:

Medial lab scientists

  • Applications will be screened and interviews will be offered to selected students. Interviews are conducted before graduation by lab leaders.
  • If selected, you will receive an offer and an agreement specifying a 3-year work commitment. The $7,500 award is given after the student is accepted and the agreement has been signed. Use of the funds is at the discretion of the student and no accounting for use is required.
  • Award recipients are placed into full-time positions with full employee benefits. These positions begin after graduation.
  • Award recipients must obtain ASCP certification within the first year of employment.

Application Deadlines

  • April 15, 2023 for April/May 2023 graduates
  • November 30, 2023 for December 2023 graduates
