Cadillac Hospital’s Sleep Disorders Center provides testing in four comfortable bedrooms with private baths.

Charlevoix

The Sleep Center is located next to Charlevoix Hospital in the lower level of the Charlevoix Surgeons at 14695 Park Ave. in Charlevoix. Two comfortable hotel-like rooms with queen beds and private bathrooms with showers are available for daytime or nighttime sleep studies. Children age three and older can be evaluated for a sleep disorder. A parent stays in the sleep room with the child throughout the study. Children under the age of three may be referred to pediatric sleep specialists at C.S. Mott University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich., or DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Kalkaska

Kalkaska Memorial Health Center Sleep Disorders Center has two bedrooms for overnight in-center testing.

Manistee

Manistee Hospital’s Sleep Disorders Center has two suites featuring queen-size adjustable beds and private whirlpool baths and showers. While most patients stay overnight, testing hours are available to best suit patients’ typical sleep schedules.

Traverse City

Located at Foster Family Community Health Center at 550 Munson Ave. in Traverse City, the Munson Sleep Disorders Center features six home-like bedrooms with private baths, all equipped for handicapped access.

It is also home to the Pediatric Sleep Program. Specially trained staff and child-friendly bedrooms and furnishings – as well as rooming-in facilities for parents – provide the security children need to sleep well during their studies.

Home Sleep Studies: A Screening Tool

Home studies may be appropriate for people with uncomplicated, moderate to severe obstructed breathing (sleep apnea). Home studies measure only a few parameters. Your doctor may recommend a more comprehensive in-center testing, depending on your symptoms.
