Elizabeth Abel, MD

Dr. Abel was born and raised in Clarkston, MI. She attended the University of Michigan and Oakland University where she earned her B.S. in Biology. She attended medical school and received her MPH from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She was part of the Leadership in Rural Medicine MSU campus in Traverse City and is excited to be staying with Munson for residency. In her free time Dr. Abel enjoys spending time with her cat and taking advantage of the outdoor recreation in Northern Michigan, especially skiing and hiking. 

 

Jack Cleary, MD

A native of Ann Arbor, MI, Dr. Cleary spent his time as an undergraduate at Kalamazoo College. He met lifelong friends as a student-athlete at "K", playing baseball for the Hornets. After studying experimental psychology as a graduate student at Wayne State University, Jack attended Saba University for medical school. Athletics have always been a major part of his life. In his spare time, you can find him enjoying a ball game, supporting Notre Dame football, or three-putting for bogey from 10 feet.

 

Kaitlyn Kilpatrick, DO

Dr. Kilpatrick, who was born in Palatka, FL and raised in Leesburg, FL, graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Health Sciences. She completed her Master’s degree in Medical Sciences at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine’s Bradenton campus, where she also went to medical school. She has a passion for full spectrum family medicine including women’s health, geriatrics, addiction medicine, and psychosocial health. In her spare time, she enjoys trying new cuisines and cafes, going to the gym, exploring new trails, cooking and baking, and cuddling every furry friend she encounters. 

 

Haley Kopkau, MD 

Dr. Kopkau Janis was born and raised in Tawas, Michigan. She attended Central Michigan University where she earned a B.S. in Biochemistry. She also received her medical education at Central Michigan University College of Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing with her husband, Tim, downhill skiing, and trying out new recipes. She is passionate about women's health and is looking forward to serving the communities of Northern Michigan for years to come. 

 

Addie Loftus-Olgac, MD

Dr. Loftus-Olgac, grew up in Frankenmuth, Michigan. She attended Alma College and received her B.S. in Integrative Physiology and Health Sciences with a Minor in Chemistry. She received her Medical Degree from UMHS on the island of St. Kitts. She is happy to be back in Michigan with her husband and is excited to live in northern Michigan. In her free time she enjoys biking, paddle boarding, watching the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers, and playing with her dog, Matilda. 

 

David Stalker, MD

Dr. Stalker was born and raised in the northern Michigan town of Cadillac. He attended Ferris State University for his undergraduate degree, where he earned a B.S. in Biology PreMedicine. During his medical training he concurrently received a B.S. in Human Health Sciences. He completed medical school at American University of Antigua College of Medicine. Dr. Stalker is excited to be back in northern Michigan for his graduate medical education with Munson. In his free time he enjoys outdoor activities such as mountain biking, golfing, boating, snowmobiling and many others.
